Not that long ago I was having a conversation with a friend of mine. The subject soon turned to Internet marketing. We both wondered why so many people seem to struggle and never really make progress in this business. I've got a theory. My theory is that the primary reason why people fail to make progress in this business is because they don't really have a concrete sense of what they want to accomplish. Now to you, this link seem very simplistic. But there really seems to be some truth to this.
Let it this way, if you have a goal and a concrete game plan then you know where you're going and how your any get there. You're less likely to fall into the common time wasting traps such as spending all your time at Internet marketing message forums. Am I saying that spending time at an Internet marketing message forum is universally a bad thing? No, not at all.
If spending some time at one of these places helps move you closer to your goal then fine. Trouble is, most people treat these forums as digital clubhouses. They just go there to chit chat with other people who are frustrated and broke. So what's the solution?I really think that you need to spend some time figuring out what it is you want to accomplish on the Internet. Once you have this in mind, then it's time to formulate a day to day schedule. Your schedule should consist of activities designed to move you closer to your ultimate goal.
